Skill tree

The grid uses the stored row and column. x and y stay on each skill row. They are not used to move a cell. An empty cell is a coordinate with no skill. A null layout is listed under the grid.

Effects

The change is the difference from the previous stored row of the same effect. Level indexes that the file omits are not filled in. Values are printed as stored. The files do not publish a maximum, so this page does not draw a shared scale.

Missing data

These are the gaps on this role. Null means the game files omit the field. It does not mean zero, and this site does not estimate a replacement. An empty effects list means the per-level effects were not published.

Skills whose effects list is empty

  • — Can autorepair at petrol stations (Air Vehicles) · Pilot.AutoRepair
  • — Spawnzone Repairing speed improvement (Air Vehicles) · Pilot.RepairSpeed.Spawn
  • — Engine turn on speed improvement (Air Vehicles) · Pilot.QuickerEngineStart
  • — Petrol station refueling speed improvement (Air Vehicles) · Pilot.RefuelSpeed.PetrolStation
  • — Spawnzone refueling speed improvement (Air Vehicles) · Pilot.RefuelSpeed.Spawn
  • — Reload speed improvement (Mounted MG - Air Vehicles) · Pilot.ReloadSpeed.MountedGun

Dataset notes

  • Fewer than half of skills have per-level effects in the game files. effects is an empty list when absent.
  • Point costs and prerequisites are held by the server and are not in the dataset.

How to read the Pilot page

TODO: localization. This section is a shared placeholder. It explains how to read the page. It is not a review of one role.

This page is a field reference for one role. Every figure is copied from the public game files for one Steam build. The page does not rank roles, and it does not fill a gap with a guess. The heading is the role id. The files do not store a separate display name. A gloss above the heading, when the interface language differs from the id, is a reading aid. It is not a field in the role record.

The record stores an XP resource id and a level table. In this build each role has one row for every level from 0 through 100, and the six tables hold the same pairs. The table on this page is this role's own list. The change column is the difference from the previous stored row. The first row has no previous row. The files do not name a unit for XP. A stored zero is shown as zero.

Skills are joined on the role id. A skill stores an id, a name, a description, a layout, and an effects list. Layout, when present, is a row, a column, and an x,y pair. The files do not publish a unit for x and y. The tree record stores a row count, a column count, and a shape string. The grid is drawn from the row and column only. Empty coordinates have no skill record. They are not null fields. A null layout means that skill has no cell. It is named under missing data and left off the grid. Skills that share a display name stay separate, because the id differs.

An empty effects list means the files omit per-level effects for that skill. It is not a bonus of zero. The file notes, copied in the missing-data section, say that fewer than half of skills have per-level effects, and that point costs and prerequisites are held by the server. This page does not estimate a cost or a prerequisite. An effect row that does exist stores a trigger, an effect id, an attribute, a curve name, and level/value pairs. Only the stored level indexes are printed. Indexes that do not appear are not interpolated. When an attribute, a curve, or a level list is null or empty, that part is marked missing and the effect id is still shown. A value is printed as stored. This page does not decide whether a number below one is a reduction. The change beside a value is the difference from the previous stored row of that same effect.

The paragraphs in this section are a shared placeholder. They explain how to read the page. They are not a review of this role. Korean and English carry the same explanation. Every other language falls back to English until a translation is added. Names and descriptions are the sentences stored in the files. This page is not affiliated with Bulkhead or Team17. The numbers come from warpuppies/wardogs-data under the Unlicense. Cosmetics from the same file are listed on the roles index, because a cosmetic record does not store a role. When you cite a figure, cite the game build in the header.

Questions

Why does a skill show no effects?

The skill's effects list in the game files is empty. An empty list means those per-level effects were not published. It does not mean the skill has a zero bonus.

Where are the point cost and the prerequisites?

They are not in the dataset. The file notes say the server holds them. This page does not estimate a cost or a prerequisite.

Where do these numbers come from?

The figures are read from warpuppies/wardogs-data for game build 25937608, under the Unlicense. This site does not estimate values the files leave out.
